Jordan bourse continued losses for the second consecutive session pressured by financial and industry sectors.
The benchmark index declined by 0.38% or by 8.09 points to 2120.75 points.
It is worth mentioning that the index ended yesterday’s session in red. It declined by 0.08% losing 1.70 points to close at 2128.94 points.
At the sectors level, the industry sector declined by 0.65”% and the financial sector shed 0.36% while the services sector increased by 0.02%.
Out of 135 companies participated in trading today, 44 rose, 52 declined and the remaining ones kept flat.
The top three gainers were, the Resources Company For Development And Investment Plc by 7.14%, Real Estate Development by6.67% and Arab Company For Investment Projects by 4.76%.
The top three losers were, Hayat Pharmaceutical Industries Co. by 5.06%, The Jordanian Pharmaceutical Manufacturing by 4.88% and Offtec Holding Group Plc by 4.65%.
Total of 7.4 million shares were traded through 3265 transactions at a turnover of JOD 7.3 million.
